Logging In
Did you know you can access your library account information through our online catalog? Login to your account to place items on hold, make requests, renew items, and more. This login also gives you access to download and stream books and access online resources.
If you don’t have a library card yet, learn how to register.
Your Password
You will need to use your library card barcode number and password to log in. By default, your password is your last name, with the first letter capitalized. You can update this password after logging in. If you’re having trouble with your password, please contact the library.
More Information
You can check out up to 50 items with your library card. There is a limit of 6 each for audiobooks, movies, music CDs, and magazines.
Checkout periods vary by item type:
- Most books: keep for 4 weeks
- New books and Lucky Day: keep for 2 weeks
- Magazines: keep for 2 weeks
- Music CDs: keep for 2 weeks
- Movies and TV: keep for 1 week

If you are logged in to your library account, you can place a hold on any items from the catalog. You can also contact the library to place items on hold. We’ll contact you when the items are available for pickup at the library holds shelf – you can also use our Curbside Service!
Books and other materials may be returned inside the library during open hours, or from any of the onsite book drops after hours.
If you aren’t quite done with your items, you can renew them for another checkout period one time, as long as no one else is waiting on them. Renew through your online account or by contacting the library.
Asotin County Library is fine free, meaning we do not charge late fees for items kept beyond their return date. Fees are only accrued for items that are damaged or never returned. Please note that your account will be locked if items are not returned.
