How to Get a Library Card

Adults

The first library card is free with proof of current address and photo identification when you apply for a card at either library location. You are responsible for all items checked out on your card. If you lose your card, you may obtain a new one for $1.00. Your Valnet library card is good at all Valnet libraries.

Children and Young Adults (ages 16 and under)

Children birth to sixteen years of age may obtain a library card. However they must have an application signed by a parent/guardian. They are responsible for all materials checked out on their card.

Parents/Guardians must have an active Valnet library card.
