This book was such a good and fun read, the author did a really good job of fully immersing you into the universe. The world was so interesting and the magic system was unlike any I have read before. It is a fantasy heavily influenced by Norse mythology and the Vikings that believed in it. The main character is a strong-willed woman who was dealt a terrible hand and has to constantly fight for the right to control her own fate. Her choices and fate have been prophesied to determine a new leader of her land and everyone around her wants to take that to their advantage. I rated it a 10/10 and will definitely be recommending it to anyone I can.
