Learning Garden at Heights Branch

We won! Thank you T-Mobile for choosing Asotin County Library and Asotin County Library Foundation as one of your Hometown Grant recipients! We are so excited to build a Learning Garden at the Heights Branch Library providing an outdoor space to enable educational and recreational programs for all ages!

Library Director Jennifer Ashby shares, “The T-Mobile Hometown Grant will provide the first outdoor community gathering space for residents of Clarkston Heights. We are so excited about the smart-scaped exhibit garden, the patio area for formal programs and informal gatherings or individual uses and the StoryWalk™ for families to share an active reading experience. Thank you, T-Mobile, for investing in our community!”

The Asotin County Library and Foundation received a $50,000 grant from T-Mobile, plus $10,000 from the Innovia Foundation and another $10,000 from an anonymous donor that will help fund a patio garden and a StoryWalk™ at the Heights Branch Library.

Stay tuned for upcoming project details!
