March is Brain Injury Awareness Month
Local resident Rene Ready was an occupational therapist for 31 years when a visit to the dentist sent her home with a brain injury. It was the end of her career and the life she knew.
A lot of brain injuries are invisible, making it exceptionally hard to live with, and difficult to explain without coming across as lazy, faking it, inconsistent, and giving up.
Come join the author and retired occupational therapist for an eye opening presentation of art, images and photography to raise awareness for invisible brain injuries.
Ready will have copies of her book Living in Shitville - What an Invisible Brain Injury Feels Like available for $35 cash or check.
