Program Description

Event Details

Neighborhood Naturalist Michelle Schmidt (who was recently featured in the Inland 360!) will guide us on a walk through Chief Timothy. She will point out diverse flora and fauna, share ecological insights, and help us foster a deeper connection to the natural world around us.

Adventure seekers of all ages are welcome! Children 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

ENTRY
FREE entrance for those attending! Check-in at the Park station and let park staff know you're there to attend the Library's Nature Walk.

MEET
We will meet in the Main Parking Lot near the beach just before 10am. 

BRING
We highly suggest you bring a hat, sunscreen, water bottle and good walking shoes! 
You are welcome to stay at the Park for the day, so consider bringing a lunch or a swimsuit if you want to hang-out after the our walk. Please check-out at the Park station when you're done.
