Welcome back to the Downtown Library and the Heights Library! Both location are open for Grab-n-Go browsing and limited computer use. Facemasks are required and social distancing will be observed. At the Downtown Library, laptops are available for parking lot use during the library’s open hours. Patrons may also check out mobile hotspots for access to high-speed internet.
All book drops are open, including those inside the libraries. Quarantining of books is no longer required by the state.
To request items for pick up at the Downtown Library, please do one of the following:
- Log in to your account at www.valnet.org and place your holds or
- Email a list to email@example.com or
- Call (509) 758-5454
If emailing or calling to request items, please do so at least 4 hours before you would like to pick them up.
Call when you’re on your way or have arrived in the parking lot so staff can get your items ready for you.
Items will be left in paper bags on a table outside of the library – bags will be labeled with first 3 letters of last name and first 3 letters of first name. In order to maintain social distancing, please wait in your car until there is no one in the pickup area.
