Due to concern over the rapidly rising COVID-19 cases in Washington, Governor Inslee has placed some restrictions on businesses and organizations. Therefore, the library will be temporarily suspending in-person service inside the library building.
Curbside pick-up is available from 11am to 2pm and 3:30 to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
To request items for pick up, do one of the following:
- Log in to your account at www.valnet.org and place your holds or
- Email a list to email@example.com or
- Call (509) 758-5454
If emailing or calling to request items, please do so at least 4 hours before you would like to pick them up.
Call when you’re on your way or have arrived in the parking lot so staff can get your items ready for you.
Items will be left in paper bags on a table outside of the library – bags will be labeled with first 3 letters of last name and first 3 letters of first name. In order to maintain social distancing, please wait in your car until there is no one in the pickup area.
There will be a cart outside to put items being returned or you may use the book drop in the alley.
All returned items will be quarantined for 2 days and will remain on your account during that time.
